SCRIPTURE: Exodus 33:7-11

“7 It was Moses’ practice to take the Tent of Meeting and set it up some distance from the camp. Everyone who wanted to make a request of the Lord would go to the Tent of Meeting outside the camp.8 Whenever Moses went out to the Tent of Meeting, all the people would get up and stand in the entrances of their own tents. They would all watch Moses until he disappeared inside. 9 As he went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and hover at its entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 When the people saw the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, they would stand and bow down in front of their own tents. 11 Inside the Tent of Meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Afterward Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua son of Nun, would remain behind in the Tent of Meeting.”

**1) STRENGTH AND COURAGE STARTS IN THE TENT

*not because who is talented, but who is devoted. PERSUE!

• Meet With Him: Joshua’s passionate pursuit of Koinonia with God was the foundation and launching pad for his calling, strength, character & courageous faith. **与祂相遇：**约书亚热切追求与神的亲密团契（Koinonia），这成为他蒙召、得力、有品格并拥有勇敢信心的基础与起点。

  *Is it the first thing that we get up and want to be close to the God?

  *Do you want to stay in the tent?

  *Is your relation with God is second hand? or face to face?

A) Deepens Our Friendship (We Get to Know Him and His Voice Better/He Builds Trust in Us)

• Joshua’s trust and courage came from the hours in the tent (Num. 13:1-14:14:9). God knew and trusted Joshua to lead. 约书亚的信任与勇气来自他在会幕中花费的时间（民数记 13:1–14:9）。神认识并信任约书亚带领百姓。
